Can I put two single mattresses in a double bed?
Yes. Two 80x200 mattresses fit a 160x200 bed, two 90x200 mattresses fit a 180x200 bed. That way each sleeper is free to choose their own firmness and comfort. Do choose two mattresses of the same height. If you do not want a seam in the middle, you can place a topper over both mattresses.
